Slowly and deliberately he ran  his fingers over the name etched in black marble "William Crowley." He was perhaps 50 years old and one could tell he had gotten dressed in his best clothes, including suit, tie, freshly shaved and combed his hair. He stood back, saluted the name and bowed his head in prayer. After about five minutes he gazed at the name with tears in  his eyes and slowly bent and picked up an old battered yellow bag. He turned around, closed his eyes, raised his face to the sun and stood silently in private reflection.
