This statue is a giant that is awakening from a deep sleep. It was part of an exhibit in 1980 called The Museum Without Walls. This statue was so popular they decided to leave it. It was sculpted by Jay Seward Johnson. The giant is made of aluminum. We all got to have our picture taken while we sat on the head. Everyone tried to climb up the top of the knee. I hurt mine when it was my turn. This was a fun break. We all got to run around and stretch while we learned about a cool sculpture. –Steven
