We went to the Holocaust Museum and saw Daniel’s Story. It is a fictional story about a boy who keeps his Diary. He is Jewish and he and his family were taken by the Nazi’s to the ghetto. He was separated from his sister and his mother. He learned later that they were murdered. He and his dad were sent to a concentration camp and they hardly ever had anything to eat. Daniel was one of the few survivors. The exhibit showed parts of the diary and showed how a child can go from living a normal life like us, to being taken away from a normal life to a prison type life for no reason. I thought it was pretty sad to hear this story and it really made me think of what life would have been like during the Holocaust. –Danielle
