National History Museum

We started in the Museum of American History. We went around and saw some very old cars and motorcycles. We found a part of the Museum were we could all go inside and do hands-on science projects. I did a radiation project while there. We saw many of the original dresses worn by Presidential First Ladies. I really thought they were pretty but they were very faded.

Next we went the National History Museum. We saw the Hope Diamond. I think that is the prettiest thing I have ever seen. We got to see dinosaur bones and the diagrams of them. Miss McCarthy showed us how they create casts of the bones to make a whole skeleton. I thought it was very exciting to get to go to all these places and learn about so many things that have happened in our past. –Laurel
