The FDR Memorial was a really neat place! There were so many waterfalls all over the place, which made it very interesting and pretty. President Roosevelt declared World War II in 1939, and there were still rocks from it. There were also two different rock exhibits. One was of broken rocks all at different angles showing the mess of the war, and the other was of rocks aligned and in neat form, showing how President Roosevelt put the country back together. There was even a statue of Eleanor Roosevelt that honors her in our memories. The FDR Memorial was a really pretty and historic memorial that I would enjoy visiting again.
