Ford's Theatre
Ford's Theatre: http://www.nps.gov/foth/index2.htm
1. Why did the first plan to capture President Lincoln fail?
2. What body part did John Wilkes Booth break while trying to flee
Ford's theatre?
3. How many days after killing the President was Booth arrested?
As you may know Fords Theater is where President Lincoln was
assassinated. When we went there we sat down and listened to a man tell us the story of
how President Lincoln was assassinated. The theater was identically decorated to match the
original theater. On the box there were four American flags, A Presidential flag, and a
picture of George Washington to represent the president. They did not have a picture of
President Lincoln so they put the picture of George Washington there instead. I liked
Fords Theater because the man told us a very descriptive story of Lincolns
Assassination and the decorations were beautiful! I think this is a very interesting place
and I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys history. By: Jordan Roberson
