"Freedom is not free". These words are on the Korean Memorial wall which depict all the women and men who fought in the Korean war. Nineteen life size men are on the ground symbolizing the nineteen countries who fought in the war. On the wall surrounding the statues are photo etchings of different soldiers from different countries who fought in the war. This was my favorite memorial of all the memorials in Washington D.C. I liked how all the statues had very expressive faces, and I loved the photo etchings on the wall. This was an incredible site to see.
