1.  What were the four major criteria for the design of the Memorial?

2.  What is the name given to the area where the statue is located?

3.  What other famous Memorials do the walls of the Vietnam's Memorial point to?

4.  How are the names on the wall arranged?

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial was very big. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is a wall that has all of the names of the people from the Vietnam War who were missing in action or have died. The people that were missing in action had a + before their name, and a <> for the people who died. We were able to do rubbings of the names that we wanted to. Next to the walls there was a spot to put flowers from the ones who had families who passed away. There was also a statue of three soldiers holding guns. This memorial was the only one to be designed by a woman. This wall is very touching to those who had family that died trying to save the country.
