First we went into the station and got to buy our own token. They were $1.50. The man behind the counter was so slow. Once we got on the subway I thought it smelt weird. When the subway ride started it jerked. We weren’t ready and a lot of us almost fell. We had to hold onto some handles to keep our balance while we were on the trip. We got off the subway at 34^th street.

The New York subway ride was much longer than the Washington D.C. ride. There were more things written on the glass windows and more people on the New York subway than Washington too.
