Hi, and welcome to my web page!  At the fourth grade level I teach all main subject areas except English. When I am away from Saint Michael, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Andrew, boating and fishing. I also enjoy shopping, reading, and spending time with friends.

Fourth grade is a very busy year for our students. We study Florida history, the environment in Florida, and many other exciting topics. We take a field trip to the Everglades and spend three days at Sea Camp in the Florida Keys learning about ocean life and ecology. We read many interesting novels including The Talking Earth and Number the Stars.

Newsletters are updated each Friday. Follow the link above and print out the newsletter.  You can get a hard copy or an e-mail copy if you wish.  Follow the Visit My Classroom link to see pictures of classroom activities, to find information about upcoming events or units of study, and to find links to math games, Sea Camp, Everglades National Park and more.  The link called Important Information has copies of documents that were sent via e-mail pertaining to field trips or other things needing your attention. Homework will be posted daily on the school's online calendar. Under the "Interest Group" drop-down menu, choose my name and you will be able to see the daily assignments and test dates.
