Visit My Classroom
I am
Diane Kratt, the school’s resource teacher. I have
been teaching since 1989 and have been at St.
Michael Lutheran since 1996. I have a Master’s
degree in child development from Concordia
University and I am Florida certified to teach
grades
1-9, gifted education, and ESOL. I am very excited
to be at St. Michael and am interested in helping
the students, families, and staff in various ways
The
resource program was started in the 2000/2001 school
year and continues to change according to the needs
of our school. The purpose of our program is to help
the classroom teachers meet the needs of their
students. This is accomplished through consultative
methods, staff training workshops, and working with
small groups of students and individuals on a pull
out basis. Students are offered remedial services to
help strengthen basic skills when needed. Enrichment
opportunities are also encouraged to help enhance
those skills of learners who have already mastered
them. This program is not only intended to help the
teacher and student, but also to be of assistance to
the parent.
Please
let me know if I can be of assistance to you and/or
your child(ren).
