Visit My Classroom
Welcome to my webpage. My name is Kayla Swetz. I
have been teaching middle school math a St. Michael
since I graduated college in 2005 from the
University of North Dakota. When I am at Saint
Michael, you will find me coaching cheerleading and
energizing my students to their greatest math
abilities. When I am not in school, you can find me
reading, shopping, spending time with my husband
Neil and my son Tye.
I am currently a seventh grade homeroom teacher and
middle school math teacher. I teach seventh grade
religion, sixth grade on-level math, seventh grade
advanced math, and eighth grade advanced math. In
religion we learn about the New Testament and the
great stories that come with it. We focus on
relating the topics to our life and how we can grow
in our faith from the past. In all my math classes,
we strive to push ourselves to achieve more than we
thought we were capable by using hands-on
activities, cooperative learning, and several
technology games.
Thanks for stopping by my webpage!
