St. Michael Lutheran School offers a chess club during the 2nd semester of the school year.  Every Tuesday from 3:00 – 4:00, students can improve their game of chess. Did you know that chess improves reading and math skills, impacts motivation and achievement, elicits critical thinking skills, improves self confidence, builds discipline, enhances problem solving skills, challenges creativity, and provokes rational thinking and patience?  Well it does, come to the Science Room and find out for yourself
