Kids Care Club- Kids have a great capacity to
care about people, animals and the world around
them. The Kids Care club is a group of SMLS
students grades 3-8 who show they care by
sponsoring fund raisers, events, and activities
to raise the awareness of an issue, raise money
or items to help with an issue and to feel good
that they have helped.
To date we have raised items for the Lee County
Animal Services, sponsored the K-9 unit here at
SMLS, plan a fund raiser for the K-9 dogs armor,
are sponsoring an American soldier, clean up the
school grounds, work on the SMLS Saturday
workday once a month, etc.
They will be sponsoring a bake sale for the
Octagon animals in the spring and more.
To join come
to the library on Fridays after school. A new
schedule will be available after the holidays.
