Confirmation Students Say Thanks

We appreciate all of your support for the Bake Sale on Oct. 29. All money raised is going to help Lutheran Service of FL and GA to assist children as they transition into foster homes! This service project was in response to their study on the 1st Article of the Apostle Creed: God our Provider!

Middle School "Lighten the Load"

Obstacle courses, shootin’ hoops, volleyball passin’ and hanging with friends has been the menu for our first month of Lighten the Load. Each week we see some new faces. Bryan Stork and the other youth hope that soon they will see yours as well. Come join us on Wednesdays: Dinner 5:30-6:30, Worship 6:15-6:45, Lighten the Load 7:00-8:00.

Middle and High School Christmas Progressive Dinners
Set your calendar now for the afternoon and evening of Dec. 10. We will hold our annual Progressive Dinner and servant event. More details will come, but if you are a family wanting to host or team together with another family to provide one of the courses, please contact Lori.

Confirmand Retreat at the FL-GA Middle School Youth Gathering
Please pray for our 25 youth and 5 adults who will be attending the District’s Youth Gathering Nov. 3-5 in Leesburg, FL November 3-5. For those who cannot attend, we will still have confirmation on Sunday from 9:15-10:30 on the same theme.

2007 National LCMS Youth Gathering
Registrations have been processed and we have 27 youth and 7 adults signed up to experience the amazing National Youth Gathering next summer. Now it is time to set some important dates.

• Parent and Youth Meeting, Wed. Nov. 1 at 8 PM (following FOCUS)
• Car wash Fundraiser Sunday, Nov. 12 with our group worshiping the night before Sat. Nov. 11.
