The Inventor's Fair Schedule, 2005:

• Week of November 7 - Introduction and explanation of project; beginning of work!
  
• Friday, November 11 - Problem/Solution Log Sheet due
  
• Tuesday, November 15 - Unique Solution Log Sheet due, and explained.
  
• Tuesday, November 22 - Materials & Cost Log Sheet due.
  
• Monday, November 28 - Inventions due at 8:00 a.m. Steps Followed Log Sheet also due. 
  
• Week of November 28 - Work on revising and proofreading log sheets in class*. Work on posters. You will type your poster pieces in Computer Class. You may also want to include pictures of you building your invention, so be sure to take the pictures and have them developed beforehand!
  
• December 5-8 - Presentation of inventions & posters to the class during class periods.
  
• December 8 - 5t. Michael Science and Inventor's Fair in the evening. Projects can be viewed by parents and students later that evening. All Parents and Students should prioritize this evening and plan to attend! During the day we will take class time to set up our displays.

*NOTE: Be sure to take good notes as you do your research to make sure your solution/invention is unique. When you start gathering the materials you will need for your invention, keep good records of their cost. Keep a log of the step-by-step procedures you follow as you complete each task for this Inventor's Fair Project. All of this helps you earn your Inventor's Fair grade. If done carefully and completely, you will increase the value of your project and the enjoyment you receive from doing it.
