Welcome to Guidance!

Students at Saint Michael Lutheran will grow and learn according to God's plan through Guidance in the classroom setting, small group sessions and individual counseling.  The chief components of our guidance curriculum encompass the following areas:

  •     Living and working with Christian family values
  •     Establishing and maintaining friendships
  •     Understanding feelings and emotions of others
  •     Learning safety at school and home

          Guidance Schedule    

Pre three through fifth grade have a guidance class every other week.

 

            Grades six though eight have a weekly guidance class.

 

                Guidance classes start the first week of school!

 If you are separated or divorced this program is aimed specifically for your child.

 

       Welcome to Middle School Retreat for Sixth Graders - We celebrate their entrance into middle school.  We discuss difficult changes and pertinent life issues.  We also focus on spiritual growth and awareness.       

The sixth graders meet their eighth grade mentor(s) at the retreat!  They get to know each other through team building games and activities.  Click here to take a look at some pictures from the Retreat.

        Eighth Grade Mentor Program – The eighth grade students learn how they are called to share their God given gifts and talents with their sixth grade partner.  This programs embraces friendship, guidance and support by our eighth graders to younger students. 

 

    High School Fair – Meet representatives from Ft. Myers public AND private schools!
