What some of our SMLCS parents have to say about the school.
The two years my daughter has attended SMLS brings tears to my eyes from the generosity that the staff and parents have shown to my family. During our times of struggle this school has really opened up a whole new meaning of LOVE. Everyone I meet I tell them about SMLS the teachers are terrific and the staff is wonderful. My family truly appreciate everything you all have done from teaching to prayers.
From the moment I stepped into St. Michael, I immediately knew this was the school where my daughter was meant to be. The feeling of God’s love is everywhere! The teachers and staff are phenomenal and the values that are integrated into my child’s everyday experience are incredibly important to her spiritual, educational, social and emotional development. We are now in our fifth year at St. Michael and couldn’t be happier! When I was looking for a school, my total focus was on what was best for my daughter. What I didn’t realize was how our entire family would also be embraced with love and genuine caring through life’s both joyous and difficult times. St. Michael is truly a family and we can’t imagine being anywhere else. We are truly blessed!
Saint Michael School has been the best decision in our son’s early education. Our son is advanced in his intellectual learning, and I credit Saint Michael School. He is thriving in Saint Michael’s caring, safe environment. The teachers and entire faculty are outstanding, and we could not be happier!
All the teachers genuinely care for the well being of their students. The Christian atmosphere, small classes, and academic rigor all make it a phenomenal school!
Sending our baby girl to Little Saints at Saint Michael School is the best decision we’ve made as parents. The school is clean, the staff is phenomenal, and our child loves coming here day in and day out!
I had to write and tell you about one of the best things to happen since my children started attending St. Michael Lutheran School. As students, my children were taught to pray before meals, to pray for each other, and to give thanks to God for everything in their lives. My children began to bring those beliefs home and to ask for my husband and I to participate in these newfound practices.
I grew up as a “non-practicing” Catholic who always believed in God but never felt like I had the education to match that belief. We didn’t attend church as a family growing up, and I knew that I didn’t want my children to grow up feeling as I did, that “something was missing”.
My husband and I chose to enroll our children at St. Michael knowing that we wanted them to have a Christian education. I never dreamed that I would learn along with them and end up on my own faith journey. It began with the memory verse, Jeremiah 29:11, which was introduced right as the building industry was crashing down around our heads and my husband (who is a builder) and I thought we were going to lose everything. I finally realized that I had to give up trying to control my life and trust that God actually did have a plan to prosper me and not to harm me.
I began praying on a regular basis and going to church. And now, 12 years later, not only do I work at St. Michael Lutheran school, but I am a small group youth leader at our home church and we talk freely and openly about God at home, in school and to anyone who will listen.
Thank you, St. Michael for changing our lives for the better!
Our experience at St Michael has been a blessing. When we moved to Fort Myers 6 years ago we had no idea where to enroll our boys in school. After visiting with and speaking with some of the St Michael staff we decided to enroll our boys and it turned out that was absolutely the best decision we could’ve made. The friends we’ve made and the relationships we developed have been some of the best of our lives. I cannot thank you enough for providing a warm and caring environment through the school and church community.
